Using Generative AI: Things to Remember

While it's easy to use, it needs to be heavily prompted and checked. Sometimes it takes more time to write an AI assisted article than just do it the normal way, as you constantly need to make sure it doesn't hallucinate and edit so that it's readable.

Generating Sales Through Black Friday Discounts and Holiday Deals

I don't do it, mainly because my clients had no problem up until now to pay for my services, so there's no need to discount them. For people who sell products (virtual or not), Black Friday can be a great time to end the year on a high note though.

What Kind of Content Do You Create

Mainly articles so far. I am trying to get myself to create some PDFs, but time is really tight. Audio and video, while great options, never worked for me.

    Why Mobile Optimization Matters

It's a direct ranking factor and a reason to be dexinded by good ole Google. Then we can discuss about people spending more time on mobile devices and less time on their PCs :)

Why AI Generated Content Might Not Be The Best For User Engagement

I always create my content briefs personally (based on the logic of the topic, so semantically, and also as a gap, providing extra info' than competitors). Then ask questions and prompt ChatGPT. We do need actionable content, articles written in an active voice etc. Otherwise it's just bad...

    AI Vs. Search Engines

AI hallucinates a lot and will give you the wrong answers. Search engines are listing various resources and you can find the answers. A little more "leg work", but chances are you will find decent resources.

How to Use ChatGPT in a Better Way?

Fact-check what it outputs, ask questions and prompt it towards what it needs to be doing. We need to remember that, at this time, ChatGPT and others are not really Artificial Intelligence as mainly predictive language models. Which means they generate words, they don't reason (yet).

What is the Purpose of Website Optimization?

Yes, website optimization is complex and has quite a few goals: first get people at your virtual door, then convert as many as you can into customers.

Driving Organic Traffic with Search Engine Marketing

It's harder and harder to do unless you have a hefty budget. Google Ads have increased in cost in the past 2 years. Always worth trying, at least to kick start your business and get some initial traffic/clients. Then you'd better off with SEO.

How to Start Selling Digital Marketing Services

It's a pretty difficult industry to get into, as some big players are already dominating it. What you can do is choose a handful of services or even one, and become an authority. Offer the best service you can within that small focused "chunk" and you can build a business out of it.

What are the best Google Analytics alternatives?

I am still relying on Google Analytics. Have developed some Looker Studio reports though and it presents the data in a more manageable way for my clients at least.

How Will ChatGPT Search Engine Impact SEO

Hmm, it's pretty iffy. AI Overview is eating into website's click-through-rates already. Don't know if chatGPT is going to become mainstream, but we never know. It's a weird time to do SEO though :D

What are you 2025 goals as a marketer

Good goals, I love them. In my case, finish the work on TheMedically and getting 3-4 extra long-term clients for SEO. Not impossible, that's for sure, but needs some extra work.

How much of your task is automated?

I used to automate some of the social media posting with Social Pilot and it was a decent option. Otherwise I like to do my work step-by-step, as most of it requires a personal touch anyways.

Have you ever hosted webinar or live event?

Nope, but I am planning to. Of course, from planning to actually doing it's a long road though :D

How Do You Determine the Right Platform For Advertising

I think it's about testing them all out. Run ads on most of the relevant ones and then see which are converting better, what your cost per acquisition is, quality of leads etc. Then ditch the ones that are under-performing or just too expensive and focus on a handful of options that bring in the...

    What Exactly is Competitor Analysis

Is what I love the most :D Seeing exactly what your competitors are doing: what are their writing about, scanning their websites and sitemaps, seeing their estimate rankings in ahrefs, studying their Google Business Profile etc. It's one of the most important steps in doing SEO for our...

What Kinds of SEO KPIs Should You Track

Basic metrics: impressions - it means we are getting noticed by the search engines and getting indexed. Better rankings will follow clicks - of course, we need to drive traffic to our clients at the end of the day positions - they need to keep on increasing and, if not, I need to see what else...

How Do You Determine Your Strength as a Marketer

It's very important to understand what your strengths are and focus on that. I can do a lot of work on a website (from graphics to web design and social media). But I shine mostly on SEO, so this is what I do 90% of the time.

Analyzing Threats and Making Adjustments to Your Benefit

Well, my job is to find gaps in our competitors' marketing and allow my clients to use them to our advantage. So keeping an eye on the bigger players in your industry is a must and constantly adjusting to their moves. Otherwise you'll be left behind.
