AI Vs. Search Engines

You can use an AI to find information online, you can also find information online by searching through search engines. So, what is the difference between using AI and using search engines. I mean what is the difference between using ChatGPT and Google search when both tools can give us the information we are looking for? Do you think AI tools and search engines have the same purpose? In case they have different purpose, how do they differ?

AI hallucinates a lot and will give you the wrong answers. Search engines are listing various resources and you can find the answers. A little more "leg work", but chances are you will find decent resources.

Well, AI feeds back from search engines generally, so I think that AI is only an extension of a search engine as far as information is concerned, although searching in a search engine can be better when you are looking for specific information or on certain websites.

Sime Gen AI also provides link to the sources and I think you can trust these tools. However, for finding information AI will never outsmart search engines

I believe that AI gives information from search engines? Sometimes it even provides the link it got the information from, so I believe it all works hand in hand.
But personally, if I want a thorough answer, I'll just go through search engine.

While both sources are okay, I find search engines to be more reliable when it comes to information. They give me greater confidence in the accuracy of the information, especially when I consult multiple online resources.
