ChatGPT provides immense opportunities for content creator, teachers, students, marketers, researchers, or even general internet users. But sadly not many people know how to use it properly. Most of them are feeding in loose prompt on ChatGPT that does bot give desired answer. If you want to unlock the true power of ChatGPT or any other generative AI, you should write a prompt that articulates your objectives clearly and offer maximum benefits.

Fact-check what it outputs, ask questions and prompt it towards what it needs to be doing. We need to remember that, at this time, ChatGPT and others are not really Artificial Intelligence as mainly predictive language models. Which means they generate words, they don't reason (yet).

There is a reason why it is advised to get trained on how to make use of ChatGPT. This will ensure that one get the maximum benefit from it and it will reduce the incidence of people coming across generic contents that are so obvious they are generated with loose prompts.

AI tools are basically language models and they take instruction based on your prompts. The better your prompt, the better is your output. You can instruct on substance and tone. You can even suggest the style suited for certain audience. Fo instance, out out put will hugely differ when you ask to "write and article on solar system" and "write an article on solar system for 5 years old kid"

That's true, I've realized, that the more detailed you are with ChatGPT, the better its responses and results, in addition, one must train the AI, so that it adapts to you and your goals.

Even when you are using a premimum version, we can never be sure of the information generated by ChatGPT. Therefore, it is important to do fact check.

Exactly. I recognized how important a prompt is when I and a friend of mine a similar prompt. ChatGPT gave my friend a more refined answer and gave me the regular average write-up. His prompt was more specific compared to mine, which explains it.

It’s important to be specific when giving instructions to ChatGPT. The clearer and more detailed you are, the better the results will be. Include relevant keywords and remember to set the desired tone.
