I’m trying to sell organic balms and teas, but certification seems costly. Do customers ask for organic proof? Is certification worth it?

If you are the manufacturer, you need to perform a study to establish your claims. However, if you are outsourcing your products, you need to choose a manufacturer whose claims are backed by clinical trials.

Exactly as you have been told, in my case I can argue that if the statements are not supported by clinical trials they are worth absolutely nothing. A few supported statements are much more preferable than hundreds without support, since without support they do not inspire confidence.

You prove organic claims in eCommerce by obtaining various certification, displaying the certifier’s logo, and providing documentation like certificates or QR codes linking to verification. Transparency builds trust.

This is also true, in fact it is something that I overlooked, you need various certifications to achieve this, always keep this in mind.
