As I build my medical website, I am trying to look at my competition and understand their strategies. What can I learn from them? What are you usually looking at when doing competitor analysis?

You can learn a lot of things from competitor analysis but the most important lesson you will learn is what works and what does not work. You can copy their winning strategies and avoid their failures. From successful content idea to best content distribution channel, you can learn so many things form your competitors.

A lot, because if your competitors do something that you didn't know about, you would already be learning something new, well, not so much learning but rather discovering that there are more things to do in your marketing in general.

By analyzing your competitors' content marketing strategies, you can learn what resonates with your target audience, identify gaps in their approach, and find ways to differentiate yourself. Look for trends, successful tactics, and engagement metrics.

Learning from competitors' mistake is quite important. However, you should also learn from the mistakes of other bloggers as well who may not be your competitors. A good content marketing strategist focuses on many inches and keeps an eye on the blogging world. This is why they generally hire experts who can help bloggers.

I think the same, learning from the mistakes of the competition is something absolutely fundamental if you want to take advantage of it and grow quickly, because you don't have to make the mistakes, on the contrary, you can also learn from the mistakes of others.

You can learn what topics engage your shared audience, which content formats perform best, how often they publish, their tone and branding, SEO tactics, and how they drive conversions, helping you refine your own strategy to stay competitive.
