I know there are so many options right now: Ahrefs, Semrush, Ubbersuggest etc. What keyword research tool would you recommend?

I have a premium subscription for Ahrefs, which is my tool to go, although pretty steep. I also have Semrush and a lifetime license for Ubbersuggest. The first 2 are the most recommended ones, but they are also pretty expensive.

Ahrefs, Semrush, Ubbersuggest are all good, but I like Semrush better. If you want to find out which one works better for you, just use the free version and see if that is the one that fits to you, you can then upgrade your membership.

You can try Google Keyword Planner, which is available for free. However, keep in mind that the data it provides is somewhat limited. It's a good idea to use the free version first to see if it meets your needs before deciding to pay for the premium version.

That's very true. And if you are an individual and not an institution and if you are not a SEO consultant, but someone just trying to improve SEO on your website, you don't even have to pay for the premium tools, you can still benefit form free tools
