What is the Ideal Length for a Forum Post

Some forums have minimum word count requirement, where as some forums do not have that requirement. Some forums expects users to create long posts, where as some forums are ok with one liner. In your opinion, what is the ideal length for a forum post?
As far as I am concerned, I think a forum posts need to be around 30-40 words. This length will validate the topic of discussion.

When I post on a forum, I do not care about the length, it is about what I want to say. Sometimes I need several sentences to share my opinion and sometimes I can say it just in few words. I do not think we should care about length, the topic determines the length.

I cannot give exact length for a forum post but I think It should be long enough to provide valuable, thoughtful content but concise enough to maintain reader interest. Breaking the text into paragraphs or bullet points also helps readability.
