What is the difference between sales pitch and ad copy?

The main objective of sales pitch and ad copy is almost same, to sell product and services, to generate leads, to encourage customers to take action. However, there is a difference between how sales pitches are written and how ad copies are written. Ad copy is very short, just a few lines and shorter the copy better is the copy. However, sales pitches are long, they highlight the features of products/services you are promoting.
 
a sales pitch is a direct, often verbal persuasion, like a face-to-face product demo at a store, targeting one person. Ad copy is written, like a catchy Instagram post, designed to attract a broad audience with concise, compelling messaging.
 
The difference is a bit obvious, one is something that you talk about and communicate to one or more people live, generally you tell a story, then a problem, then a possible solution and that solution is usually the sale, however the advertising text is simply the written advertising of the product you are trying to sell.
 
A sales pitch is a personal, direct approach aimed at persuading a potential customer to buy a product or service, often delivered in real-time, like in a meeting or call.

Ad copy, on the other hand, is written content used in advertisements (digital, print, etc.) designed to grab attention, inform, and prompt action, often targeting a broader audience.

While both aim to sell, the key difference is in delivery and format, sales pitches are interactive, while ad copy is more passive and reaches a wider audience.

I read "sales pitch" and the first thing that comes to mind is DiCaprio in the character of The Wolf of Wall Street giving a speech so convincing that you end up wanting to buy it.
