I’d book All Inclusive upfront. That way, you don’t need to worry about budgeting or spending money abroad. Besides for Room Tax in some countries which usually costs between 5-10$ per night.

If you think about it, it's a bit obvious, controlling expenses, avoiding stupid expenses on things you don't need, it depends on the trip you're taking, because if it's a trip you have to take for an important reason and it was unforeseen, you do the same thing I said, but if it's a vacation trip or a trip already planned, then you should separate the money you'll spend on the trip that you can afford to spend, obviously you won't take all your money.
