In 2021, during the Crypto boom a lot of decentralized social media platforms evolved and I was quick to join the bandwagon but the problem was not many people were willing to use them, therefore, they had limited reach. So, I stopped using them.

Decentralized social media platforms are gaining traction as they offer more privacy, data ownership, and freedom from algorithm control. Marketers benefit from niche communities, authentic engagement, and less censorship but must adapt strategies to new ecosystems.

Since 2020, specifically here, decentralized platforms have been an absolute rage. They have not yet surpassed Web 2.0, but they have been implemented very well in our lives. I feel that they still need more progress so that Web 3.0 finally becomes normalized throughout the world.
