Selling on Amazon: Which Method Do You Use?

The only thing I ever sold on Amazon was a little bit of game currency (RTM) but since it was a digital product there isn't much mystery, you publish the product, deliver it and that's it, there's nothing more to it, but I'm interested in reading comments like the one above or more from people who know and tell their experience, it's good to learn about this, in case I need it in the future, right?
