Marketing can be free. For example, you can market on social media and it does not cost you any money. If you have an email list under 2k subscribers, you can do email marketing for free. If you can do your own SEO, it is also a free marketing. But the question is how effective free marketing is? I mean does free marketing really work? Well, the answer depends on how well yo are doing it and how big is your audience. if you have very small audience (social media followers, email list), free marketing can be just a waste of time. Free market7ng works only when you have spent a lot of money building traffic or audience. For instance SEO is basically free but it will work only when you have substantially invested in SEO. Soxual media will work only when you have spent a lot of money in building followers
If you do your own SEO, you do not have to spend money, if you are a good content creator, you do not have to spend money t build audience. Therefore, it is not necessary to spend money to build audience, however, these methods always take time. With free methods, it might take over six months to sell even a single product
It might take a very long time but I believe it is possible to build followers without spending money. I have seen very common people build hundreds of thousands followers without spending any money. If you have too many followers you can do marketing without spending money and you actually also generate sales
But that wouldn't be considered free anymore would it? One can't really call it free marketing after investing money in it.
You have a point. However, once you invest a lot of money to build followers, you can benefit from your follower without spending additional money. So, ultimately it can convert to free marketing

Free marketing actually works. The thing though is that it would take much longer time and efforts for it to yield results. If you have time to wait patiently for marketing results, free marketing would really work well for you.
