The "buy one, get one free" is a widely used marketing strategy in the offline world, especially by the big retailers. Do you think this approach will also work effectively for ecommerce business? It is going to be very difficult to make more money just by doing this unless you are looking at a product whose profit margin is very high when one is sold. This means that it is not all products that this strategy will surely work for.
