Platforms like Facebook, Instagram, X, TikTok, YouTube, Reddit etc. are usually seen as free marketing sites. As a part of their free marketing efforts many businesses create pages on these platforms and start sharing their posts. Although these platforms provide access to massive audiences, publishing posting alone doesn’t guarantee visibility. Posting is not marketing, you also need to build followers. Building followers is beneficial, however, it is also crucial that these followers actually find value in your content.
 
I think it’s possible to get conversions through free marketing, but it requires time and effort. Strategies like content marketing, social media engagement, SEO, and email marketing can be effective without a budget. However, the key is consistency, delivering value, and nurturing relationships with your audience.
 
I've only used free marketing to grow my site/online business. It's been a process, but I have had some members convert into customers.

Well, conversion does not happen overnight, that's for sure. Even with paid marketing, your conversion might not be happening. In fact when I tried advertising with paid ads for the first time, on both Google and Facebook, I had zero conversions.
 
I have actually gotten sales through just posting my services on X and Facebook. You have to be repetitive and consistent in posting to stand a chance of making that sales. It is possible to make sales through free marketing but it takes efforts.
 
Yes, it takes effort. You need to build your followers, try to get positive reviews from your early buyers and publish great content so that buyers have confidence to buy from you.
