However, if you focus on certain niche and sell specialized products we might be able to sell more products on that niche as compared to Amazon. It is all about branding and SEO.

If you want to compete with these large companies I think you will first have to be patient, because making a place for yourself in such a competitive market is not going to be easy, you can try to sell in a similar way to what large companies do, to try to gain some traction, also look if these companies fail in something in their service and you could improve it.
