Can I post funny contents to attract my target audience?

I watched a video around last year where someone said a business owner should never post anything funny, but all their post has to be about their business, my question is do you think it's wrong to post some funny contents just to attract some customers?

I know a popular gas station chain called Buc-ee's always has weird and funny billboards to help promote their business. I think it works, because it really does get people talking. Plus the mascot looks a bit humorous too.
