Are TV ads still effective?

With the evolution of internet and streaming platforms, TV audience is on decline. In the US it has dropped by more than 3 percent since 2022. The viewership of pay TV has dropoped by 12.5 percent. However, TV ads continues to be one of the most expensive forms of advertising. Do you think TV ads are still effective?
 
It depends on your target audience. In my place stay at home mom and older women watch TV and if your target audience is these women, you can benefit from TV ads.
 
These days a lot of people also subscribe to paid channels or ad free channels. Therefore, reach for TV ads might still be low. Having said that news channels are popular and I believe advertising on TV channels can be effective.
 
Yes, it can still be effective, but it is not as effective as it once was because of the rise of streaming platforms. Furthermore, the number of people subscribing to cable TV channels has declined over the years. More and more individuals are also using their smartphones or tablets to watch content online.
