Despite the popularity of internet based media, radio still happens to be one of the most popular form of media the world over. In the US alone, the weekly reach or radio among adults is 82 percent. Globally, around 50 percent of the total population listen to radio. Do you think radio ads can still be effective to reach your target audience?

Radio ads can be effective and it is still a popular media. It is popular among middle aged and old people who grew listening to radio, and if you are marketing to these people you can sure benefit

Agreed! In my home country, FM radios are very popular. These radio stations cater to local audience, in particular city or town and they air local ads, for instance a clothing store in the corner, a restaurant in the downtown, etc. They have pretty decent audience.

I believe radio ads are still effective because they can reach audiences without an internet connection. In our country, radio ads are especially popular in rural areas. They are ideal for local businesses since they allow these businesses to connect with their target audience in specific areas or locations.

In my country, so many people are still hooked to radio. They play it on their cars as they are commuting. And to that effect, radio adverts are still very effective and gives a very wide reach.

Radios are very popular among the drivers. They use it not just for entertainment but also for news update, mostly about weather and traffic conditions. If your product targets these people you can certainly use them for advertising.

Radio is very popular for the locals that don't have internet connection. And they make up a large chunk of the people in my country. That's why local businesses still find success with doing radio adverts. I have been close to a broadcaster and they always sell out ad spaces every month.

I haven't listened to any radio station in years. Any ads that's put on a radio station will never get to me. This is why I don't consider it as a good medium to use for any kind of ads today.

To the best of my knowledge, I believe that radio advertising is still very effective because if it is not, there wouldn't be so many commercials that are being advertised on radio station whatever you are listening to it.

Many people are like me, we listen to radio programs when we are on commute to anywhere. Radio ads can reach the ears of people like us and if your services is what we need, you have potential clients.

Local radio ads do help, there's lots of public places like my barber that listens to the radio and small businesses also have local radio stations playing. I think lots of people use apps like iheartradio on their phones as well so there's a market still for radio ads. They might not be as effective as they once were, but you want to reach everyone in any way possible.

A lot of people still listen to the radio in their vehicles. I would think radio ads would still be effective.

In my place, radios are popular on public transport, whether you take a bus or a taxi, you will find radios turned in. It s possible to reach a lot of people through radios even when they are not using radios themselves.
