Exactly, exactly as you're reading, how hard did it take you to get your first sale in your store? I'm sure everyone's time to get their first sale is different, right? It doesn't take the same amount of time or effort for everyone. That's why I want you to tell me: How much did your first sale cost you?

This can depend a lot on the demand of the product you are trying to ell. There is a huge demand of certain kinds of products. There is a huge demand if grocery items in our city as many people need such kind of items on a regular basis. However, I wasn't selling grocery items. I was selling batteries of vehicles and I had a real, physical store. It took us a long time to sell batteries. Eventually we had to close the business as sales dropped quite significantly and we were not making profits.

I understand, so focusing on high-demand products is key to success in this, right? Excellent tips, especially very useful, like most of the ones I've been reading in your comments. Thanks for sharing your wisdom!

Getting the first sale is always difficult. That's because you do not have any reviews and ratings. A lot of people make a purchase decision based on positive reviews and ratings and when you are new, there aren't any. I asked my friends and family to buy products and leave positive ratings.

I haven’t personally run a store but I have troed social sites. Getting that first sale was tough. You need to build trust, attract the right audience, and stand out among competitors. Patience, marketing, and persistence usually make the difference.
