If your copy is about broad topics, like general health, it might attract a large audiences however, reaching the audience might be difficult as it is highly competitive. In contrast, if your copy is niche-specific, for instance, mental health, alternative health, etc. it is less competition but appeals to comparatively a smaller audience. There are pros and cons of each approach.

General copywriting covers a broad range of topics and industries, focusing on creating engaging content for diverse audiences. Niche copywriting, on the other hand, targets specific markets, requiring deeper knowledge and tailored messaging. Niche copywriting often leads to more effective conversions due to its specialized focus.

What kind of copies you need to write depends on what kind of products you are writing copies for. The type of copies also depend on your target audience. Some audience love fun element, so you need to write copies that are amusing, where as some audience like serious note, and you need to write your copy accordingly.

General copywriting covers a broad range of topics, appealing to a wide audience, while niche copywriting focuses on a specific industry or market. Niche copywriting requires deep knowledge of the audience’s needs and preferences to craft targeted messages.

Broad topics attract larger audiences but face competition; niche topics target fewer people with higher engagement.

The beauty of niche copywriting is that it gives room for real interaction within a selected audience and it also helps to build trust overtime. General copywriting draws the masses but it's with a great competition.

It's true, you reach your target audience in a better way, it's like having a closer conversation with them, so you find potential clients to a greater extent.

General copywriting is versatile and useful for broad campaigns, but niche copywriting allows for more precise messaging that resonates deeply with a specific audience. When I write for a niche, I can speak their language, address their pain points more effectively, and build trust faster, which often leads to better conversion rates.

This is very true, general writing is totally versatile, which is why I prefer specialized writing. Well, not just me, but many other people. It's the most optimal and professional approach to writing, right?
