How Do You Determine Your Strength as a Marketer

You marketing campaigns are likely to succeed only when you know your true strengths. How do you determine your own strength as a marketer? Well, you start by asking yourself simple questions such as "what is that I do well" or "what are the things that our customers have liked about us." You might also try to analyze your area of expertise where you excel or uniqueness of your products and services. Last but not the least, you also need to assess your assets like your intellectual property (content, for example), resources (money, for example), etc.
 
It's very important to understand what your strengths are and focus on that. I can do a lot of work on a website (from graphics to web design and social media). But I shine mostly on SEO, so this is what I do 90% of the time.

It is not possible to become successful without having skills on multiple areas but no matter how hard you try, it might not be possible to built expertise on each disciple. Therefore, you need to ultimately focus on something where you are best at. For instance, as a marketer you might be working on social media, but you need to check what social media you know best, and once you know that you can focus on it.
 
Been an accountant, i will engage by saying in marketing we have what we call 4Ps which are Product, Price, Place and Promotion, in marketing 4Ps are very important in other to achieve the aim and objectives of any entity which is PROFIT.
You must understand vividly your product, knowing the pros and cos of the product gives you vast knowledge on where to navigate or engage the Promotion and Price. location of promotion most times is determine the price of a commodity, Example: A bottle of water sold at a restaurant for 2cents price can be purchase at a lounge for $3 dollar, its all-marketing strategy.
 
For me, I have the power of persuasion when I am marketing a product one on one to a person. That's why I would always prefer to either of them meet the person or chat up the person privately to market my products. It is always almost certain that I would persuade the person to buy.
 
Being persuasive certainly helps. But sometimes when you are too much persuasive, you might also anger your potential customer as they might interpret this as being pestered.

Discovering your strengths when it comes to marketing will definitely go a long way in this. As one who is going with persuasion, you can use it to your advantage on physical marketing of your products to big enterprises who might need your products as well.
