Youtube marketing: Short video or long video

On YouTube you can publish all shorts video, there is no restrictions on how long your videos should be. You can publish hours of content, live stream or publish short videos. When you are marketing in YouTube, what kind of content do you like to use, do you use long videos or short videos?

I think YouTube shorts are better for marketing compared to long form video. Marketing means you are promoting something, do you think people have enough patience to watch 5-10 minutes marketing video? Well, they will certainly watch 15-30 seconds videos.

I also believe short videos are good for marketing. If your aim is to generate sales, short videos can be effective. I have so many times clicked links on short videos to buy products. However, the main thing is you need to create interesting videos so that users stop to watch it.

When you are marketing through short videos your videos need to blend with the content, which means your videos should not look like advertising, instead regular content that tries to educate and inform users.
