The primary purpose of publishing content is user engagement. Do we get same kind of user engagement with AI generated content like human generated content?
Well, you need to understand AI approaches the subject through a mechanical standpoint. Therefore, your audience might be isolated from the topic or get confused about the content. A successful content is something that relies on human touch that can align ideas in appropriate context.

I always create my content briefs personally (based on the logic of the topic, so semantically, and also as a gap, providing extra info' than competitors). Then ask questions and prompt ChatGPT. We do need actionable content, articles written in an active voice etc. Otherwise it's just bad quality content that will never rank or bring in leads.

True, AI will not tailor the content according to the humans point of view. So it might not appeal to the readers emotions, leading to low user engagement.
Care should be taken on how AI should be used when it comes to creating contents.
