Open Source Vs. Premium eCommerce Platform

I have no problems paying for premium (I have a handful of premium subscriptions even for Wordpress), but when it comes to ecommerce, I'll always choose Wordpress + WooCommerce. I just switched a client from Shopify, it was a pain in the tuckus to run a website there.
Even for the people who are not affected by the cost of premium platforms, open source can be a better way to build online stores because open source offer greater flexibility and community support. Creating websites with premium is easy but puts you on limitation when it comes to control
