With the popularity of AI tools and zero click search, do you think investing in SEO will give you ROI? Recently, I came across Neil Patel's Facebook post where he published a report gathered from 314 websites and their investment in SEO over the last 5 years. The report states that ROI for new website is mostly negative for the first and second year but for old website it is positive from the very first year. The report shows that investing in SEO for 5 years can give 126 percent ROI for new websites and 198 percent for established website

SEO is still a good investment even now as reported by Neil Patel, it is evident that properly developed SEO strategy has a potential for yielding long-term results. But this can take sometime, but once the profit is made the Return on Investment is good.

I believe that SEO is still a valuable investment. It can improve your website's ranking on search engines, drive organic traffic, and provide a long-term return on investment. Organic traffic tends to increase over time, which makes SEO a helpful strategy. However, it requires consistent effort and patience to see results.

With the popularity of AI tools and zero click searches, how do you think you will get ROI on SEO? You can certainly rank high on search engines but when a lot of people are using AI for finding information and checking Zero click search results, how do you think you will get organic traffic through your SEO efforts?

You can attain this by establishing authority and showcasing expertise in your content. Your information should include expert opinions that go beyond basic knowledge. In addition, consider using long-tail keywords, as they tend to have less competition.
