Is It Legal to Sell Imported Supplements in the U.S.?

Looking into importing from overseas, but unsure about U.S. rules and what needs approval.
Anyone importing supplements? What legal steps did you take?

It is certainly legal, otherwise how would the US market flooded with internationally manufactured dietary and medical supplements. However, I am not aware of regulations. I believe you need approval from Food and Drug Administration and also from Health department.

I don't see why it wouldn't be, as long as you have the necessary documentation and paperwork to sell, there shouldn't be any problem with that. In fact, more than one person does it.

Yes, selling imported supplements in the U.S. is legal, but strict FDA compliance is required. You must register manufacturing facilities, follow GMP, verify suppliers, label accurately, avoid health claims, and file import notices. Noncompliance can lead to detainment, penalties, or bans. Legal oversight builds consumer trust and ensures safety.
