It might sound foolish but well designed books sells better than poorly designed books. Well designed books receive a lot of positive feedbacks, thus, helping you generate sales. You can use Canva to design ebooks, however, Canva is good for image based ebooks or workbooks. When it comes to design ebooks with a lot of text, Canva might not be very useful. For that purpose, you can use designrr.io. This tool can not only help you design ebooks but even convert your blog posts, podcasts, and videos into ebooks, and flipbooks. Designrr a paid tool, and there is no free version. But if you want to design ebooks without having to hire a designer, you can find this useful.

Uhmm, I can't really brand myself a graphics designer. So if I happen to write an eBook, I might have to hire the service of a qualified graphics designer to do the design for me.
That doesn't mean I'm not open to learning though.

I don't know Designrr. But I know Canva and I think it is a wonderful tool to design ebooks. You can start with a template and copy your text into the template

I start by planning the content structure, chapters, visuals, and flow. Then I use tools like Canva or Adobe InDesign to design layouts. I keep fonts readable, use clear headings, and add engaging graphics throughout.

As you have been told, first and foremost you will start with the structure of the content, then the chapters, the visual elements are very important and finally the flow as such, I would recommend that you use Canva which is much simpler than Adobe InDesign, unless you are a true professional and want maximum quality, then use Adobe
