I mean can you generate a lot of sales through these discounts and deals. Competition is fierce and the advertising is becoming very expensive. I don't do it, mainly because my clients had no problem up until now to pay for my services, so there's no need to discount them. For people who sell products (virtual or not), Black Friday can be a great time to end the year on a high note though.

In addition, there is a higher chance that you will win new customers, and if they loved your product, they can become your regular customers. It can help clear out extra inventory as well.
