Do You Allow Multiple Accounts?

I have been a couple of times hired by forum owners to create multiple accounts and post on the forums. They even asked me to interact between the accounts. However, as a forum owner, I do not allow multiple accounts. With multiple accounts you can sure have more users but these are fake users. Do you allow multiple accounts?

While it might seem like a quick way to boost activity, fake users undermine the integrity of the community. It can also create a misleading atmosphere that deters genuine members from engaging. Keeping things authentic is key.

I've known some forum owners who allow users to have multiple accounts but they must ask and get approval before creating those added accounts.

Allowing multiple accounts on a forum can lead to abuse, spam, and manipulation of discussions or votes. Most forums discourage or ban them to maintain fairness, transparency, and trust among users. Clear policies help enforce this effectively.

I don't have a forum but I think the best thing is always to not allow more than one account, maybe 2 accounts at most, but if you allow multiple accounts it will be filled with spam and you won't have real users, just a single user generating spam, so your income will drop drastically as well as your CPM and your positioning.
